Scenic Acres Residence
Custom Window Coverings for a Modern Two-Storey Home
A full renovation for this beautiful 2 story home in Scenic Acres. Clients were looking for a modern shade for the main level and commons spaces. I recommended the Hunter Douglas Silhouette a window covering that allows for soft light diffusion but also provides the ability for privacy when the vanes are in the closed position. The Silhouette shading comes in a number of different lift options, including automation and cordless for lift. For there windows they chose to go with the ultra-glide lift option. A great option for high windows! For the bedrooms the clients wanted a product to achieve maximum room darkening and keep the room cool on the warm summer evenings. The decision was made to go with Honeycomb Duette shades by Hunter Douglas. The proprietary cell within a cell composition of the Hunter Douglas duette shade is the most energy efficient product on the market! The clients chose to go with the duolite option (2 fabric) shade for the master window.This 2 fabric option allows clients to greater flexibility for light control in the master bedroom. The clients were very happy with their windows covering selections!
